Notice is hereby given to the residents of Athens, Tennessee, and all other interested persons, that a special called meeting of the Athens City Council will be held at Athens City Hall, 815 North Jackson Street, Athens, Tennessee, beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider and act upon the following item:
- A change order for additional work needed on Dennis Street paving project, resulting in an increased project cost.
A public comment period will be provided regarding the agenda item. Any person wishing to address the City Council should sign in on the sheet located at the entrance to the council chambers prior to the start of the meeting.
