NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given to all residents of Athens, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that the Athens City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Athens City Hall, 815 N. Jackson Street, Athens, TN 37303 to consider final passage of the following ordinance:

ORDINANCE 1161
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1-II OF THE ATHENS CITY CODE BY REPLACING SECTION 1-44 TO REVISE THE ORDER OF BUSINESS FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
