NOTICE OF 2026 CDBG PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Athens will hold a public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program on Thursday February 5, at 5:00 P.M. EST at 815 North Jackson Street Athens, TN 37303.The meeting’s purpose is to discuss possible projects the city may apply for under this program. CDBG funds may be used for water and sewer improvements, imminent threat issues, and community livability projects. Anyone with disabilities requiring special accommodation for the meeting should contact the City of Athens Municipal Building at 423-744-2700.
