Recycling Center
The Athens Recycling Center is dedicated to helping our community reduce waste, conserve resources, and protect the environment. By diverting valuable materials from landfills, we not only extend the life of our landfill but also prevent pollution, save energy, and support a cleaner, more sustainable future for Athens.
At the Recycling Center, residents can conveniently drop off recyclables such as paper, cardboard, plastics, metals, and glass. Every item recycled makes a difference — conserving natural resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and lowering the costs of waste management for our community.
Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
